Brock vs Cain - UFC 121 Main event:
Brock come out and circles to the right and goes for the take down. Cain stuffs it and they start exchanging and Brock gets the take down. Cain gets right back up and gets the take down on Brock! Cain lands vicious GnP. Brock gets up and goes for a take down, but Cain lands HARD punches and B...rock drops to the Matt. Cain rains down GnP and the ref stops it. And the NEW UFC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION Cain Velasquez!!! Cain owned Brock tonight. JDS vs Cain! Wow....
Jake Shields vs Martin Kampmann - UFC 121 Co-main event:
1st round: Jake Shields lands a left high kick. Shields gets the take down early. Jake gets half mount and goes for the pass. Kampmann gives up mount, but gets right back up. They clinch and kampmann has Jake against the fence.
2nd round: Jake shields gets the take and and passed kampmanns pass at will. Jake gets side mount and kampmann jumps right up, only to be taken down again. Shields and kampmann exchange, Martin getting te better of it. Shields goes for the take down, holding martins shorts. Kampman lands a good knee, and shields gets a sloppy take down, they scrampble and get back up. Kampmann ends round 2 with strikes on shields.
3rd round: kampmann got the takedown this time, but Jake sweeps. Kampmann gets a tight brabo choke, and if looked like he was gonna tap shields. Jake somehow gets out, and gains top control and starts working kampmann for subs. Kampmann tried to sweep, but gave Jake his back. Shields almost gets the RNC, buts can't finish Kampmann. Shields wins by a split decision.
Diego Sanches vs Paulo Thiago:
1st round: Diego lands a few shots, and Paulo returns with a few hard shots of his own. Thiago gets the takedown and Diego scrambles to his feet. They exchange and Diego lands a solid upper cut.
2nd round: Paulo gets the take down again and Diego sweeps and gets on top and they scramble, and Thiago gets a kamura but Diego gets out. Diego gets swept but ends up picking Thiago up and delivering a huge slam! Diego ground and pounds as the 2nd round ends.
3rd and final round: Diego immediately gets the double leg and starts GnP'ing Paulo. They scramble and Paulo goes for a arm lock, but Diego gets right out and resumes GnP. Diego Sanchez wins via unanimous decision.
Matt Hamill vs Tito Ortiz:
1st Round: Tito comes out swinging, backing Hamill up. Hamill lands a hard head kick that cuts Tito on the right side of his head. They exchange back and forth, Tito being the aggressor. Lol - Hamill lands two shots way after the bell rings......
2nd round: Hamill gets caught with some hard blows, as Tito throws punches and kicks from every angel. Matt gets the take down and begins to rain down shot after shot on Tito, but almost gets caught in a submission. Hamill stops the attempted sub, and continues working on his GnP, ending round 2 with strikes.
3rd round: Hamill simply dominates, taking Tito down at will and elbowing him over and over. Tito trys to sweep but gets held back down as Hamill lands more elbows and hammer fist. 3rd round ends with Matt Hammill landing shots, Hamill wins by unanimous decision.
Brandon vs Gabriel:
1st round: Brandon is picking Gabriel apart, landing a few big shots. They go back and forth, with gonzaga starting to land hard leg kicks.
2nd round: goes the same, Schuab picks and chooses his punches and lands hard, strait jabs at will. Gabriel still going for body and leg kicks, but getting caught with punches in doing so. Brandon ends the 2nd round with a hard shot that rocks Gonzaga.
3rd round: Brandon is peppering Gobzaga. Gabriel starts looking for the take down and submission, but is unable to hold Brandon down. They stand back up and Brandon lands more strait jabs. Gabriel starts going for hard leg and body kicks again, but its just not enough - Schuab wins by unanimous decision.
Court Mcgee got dominated in the 1st and 2nd round. Same in the 3rd, but out of no where McGee gets the take down, then the mount, and wins with an arm triangle! What a comeback!!!
