Middle weight contender Vidtor Belfort recently did an interview with tatame where he was asked for a response to Wanderlei Silva's comment about his upcoming match. Wanderlei Silva is long time friend and training partner of Anderson Silva, the current UFC middleweight champ. When commenting on the title match between Silva and Belfort, Wanderlei said Silva would win and that he would simply be to much for the Phenom to handle. This is what Belfort had to say in response:
"I don’t think anything, he’s a spectator and he can think whatever he wants to. If you have a mouth, you can say whatever you want and Wanderlei has a big mouth. But it’s about cheering, everyone can cheer for their favorite, and the important is to be respectful and know how to choose the right words," Belfort said. "In February I’ll have my chance for the belt and let’s see how it’ll be."
This is not the first time Belfort has called someone a "big mouth", recently stating the same about Ed Soares. Apparently the two have had words in the past, and Belfort is still holding a grudge. Anderson, Wanderlei, and Vitor are all from Brazil but that's not gonna stop this long pending rivalry from turning into a war of words.
